Year round destination the new Paphos bet
After a very successful summer season is going through Paphos, tour operators province intensify its penetration efforts in various tourist markets for promotion of Paphos as a year-round destination.
Resetting the Paphos to full-time status destination for vacation, it is now as the next big bet of the provincial bodies after full recovery from the devastating effects of mowing and the collapse of the economy.
In this context, hoteliers and other relevant already started processes, including inter alia hosting journalists from the northern and central European countries, participation in tourism fairs and workshops internationally and campaign in countries with a strong interest for holidays in Paphos.
In 2017, Paphos is the focus including the fact that is the Cultural Capital of Europe, while it has managed to greatly expand into target markets with good air links, but also markets with a view to Paphos.
